Lanka Kand

Entire army of Ram descended on Suhel Mountain, the other side of the ocean. Ravan got message that the army of Ram was at the door step, he wanted to rejuvenate the demoralized subjects and army of Lanka by arranging a merry making party with his family members, and marshals of the army showing that it was a trifle matter for Ravan. Mandodari had been trying to make Ravan understand the powers of Ram but he used to laugh away telling that it did not suit to the wife of Ravan and it was something unbecoming the queen of Lankapati Ravan. That time Ram was chatting with Vibhishan and he got a very short shining image of which he enquired Vibhishan and Vibhishn told Sri Ram that Ravan was merry making with his family members and marshals it was reflection of the crown of Ravan. Ram immediately charged his arrow which cut down the crown as under and it fell down on the earth. The incident further demorlized Mandodari  and the army of  Ravan but he was not ready to understand. Ultimately a messenger namely Angad son of Bali; the valiant former king of Kishkindha, was sent to Lanka to make Ravan realize his folly and return Sita with all honor but egoist Ravan did not hear of any one ultimately the war broke out. When Ravan lost almost all the sons, brothers and army, final dual fight was to take place in-between Ram and Ravan. Vibhishan found Ram in a very matchless position to fight with Ravan such a valiant warrior, unparalleled of the time; He raised certain doubts before Ram and Ram dispelled the doubts of Vibhishan by preaching him of the elements and essence of warfare of life. No war in life of a person or in life of a nation can be won only on the strengths of material resources. Ram explained to Vibhishan that the chariot used by Ravan was not that chariot using which one could win any war against the entire worldly power. Rama ultimately killed Ravan in the war and got Sita back.
